is early experiences as a patient ignited a lifelong commitment to delivering care that not only restores function but changes lives. Today, Dr. Asturia channels that same life-changing experience into every treatment, with a special focus on full-arch rehabilitation and implant dentistry.
Education
A proud double Gator, Dr. Asturia earned his undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida with honors before continuing at UF to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. During dental school, he was recognized on the Dean’s List and received multiple clinical awards for excellence, graduating among the top of his class.
Dr. Asturia distinguished himself early on through his drive to go beyond the curriculum. While still a student, he completed his clinical requirements early to pursue advanced training in implantology. He attended hands-on implant courses from coast to coast, where he learned directly from leading surgeons and prosthodontists in the field.
Continuing Education
He continues to refine his surgical and prosthetic skills through intensive CE on complex cases involving full-arch restorations, overdentures, and immediate loading.
From guided surgery to restorative excellence, Dr. Asturia brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to implant dentistry, blending surgical precision with a deep understanding of prosthetic aesthetics and biomechanics.
Outside The Operatory
Dr. Asturia is an adventurer at heart. He enjoys cooking, traveling, kayaking, fishing, and playing guitar. He remains actively involved in community service through dental outreach programs and mission trips, including international work in the Dominican Republic.
